I was fairly excited when I came upon that the American Craft Council was working with inside designers on a singular venture referred to as Make Room: Modern Design Meets Craft. They partnered with 9 inside designers to create eight rooms impressed by a rigorously-chosen piece of craft.

This sort of jogs my memory of the HGTV white room problem. Each designer began with a clean, 10×H-foot white area and an attractive craft piece made by a collaborating present artist. Each room will give context to the handpicked items of advantageous craft, bringing the artwork to life whereas capturing the inside designers’ and designers’ distinctive types, whether or not modern, basic, elegant, or eclectic.

The designers are: – Lisa Bakamis of Lisa Bakamis Interior Design – Mimi I. Chen of Three Legged Pig Design – Lauren Geremia of Geremia Design – Nicole Hollis of Nicole Hollis Design (learn Nicole’s Friday Five) – Steven Miller of The NWBLK – W.B. Min, AIA, and Jeffrey S Day – Melina Raissnia of Peace Industry (discover out extra about Peace Industry right here) – Nicole Socia of Socia Design

We have a particular sneak peek at a number of the designs:
